Its core advantages are concentrated in three points: firstly, it has strong environmental adaptability, does not absorb moisture, does not mold, is acid and alkali resistant, can adapt to special scenarios such as cold chain (-40 ℃), food, medicine, etc., and does not require fumigation and quarantine like wooden pallets, making cross-border transportation more convenient; Secondly, it is flexible in use, lightweight (usually 3-15kg), easy to manually assist in handling, and supports stacking (saving empty pallet storage space) or nesting (reducing return transportation costs); Thirdly, it has low maintenance costs, a smooth and easy to clean surface, no burrs, and is not easily damaged. Under normal use, its lifespan can reach 3-5 years, and it can be recycled and reused after being scrapped.
The mainstream types can be divided into single-sided/double-sided types according to structure, and can be divided into four-way forks (suitable for forklifts, ground oxen, and other equipment) and two-way forks according to the fork feeding method. The size mostly follows international standards (such as 1200 × 1000mm, 1200 × 800mm), and can be efficiently adapted to pallet shelves, automated sorting systems, etc. It is widely used in e-commerce warehousing, manufacturing workshops, cold chain logistics, and other fields.
