The ADDF-63 series Arc Fault Detection Device are assembled from miniature circuit breakers (MCB) and arc detection modules. The Arc Fault Detection Device have functions of short-circuit protection, overload protection, and arc-fault protection. They detect arc-faults through chip-based detection procedures and cut off the power supply when a fault-arc occurs in the circuit, providing arc-fault protection. According to the statistics of the China Fire Yearbook, the proportion of electrical fires among all fires is increasing year by year and 70% of electrical fires are caused by fault-arcs. The ADDF-63 series Arc Fault Detection Device can effectively reduce the risk of fires caused by fault-arcs.
