Product Description:
The Fully Automatic Intelligent Fluid Loading Arm is a high-tech loading and unloading device that integrates a mechanical arm structure, automatic positioning system, video monitoring system, and intelligent control system. It is mainly used for the safe loading and unloading of petroleum products, chemical liquids, and liquefied gases between storage tanks, tank trucks, and vessels.
Applications:
Petrochemical Industry: Commonly used in tank farms, terminals, and similar facilities for loading, unloading, and transporting liquid chemical raw materials and products such as petroleum, natural gas, and liquefied gas. Warehousing and Logistics Industry: Commonly used in high-rack areas for lifting and handling goods, such as in large warehouses and distribution centers. Steel and Metallurgy Industry: Commonly used in front of furnaces, stockyards, and other sites for lifting and handling raw materials and finished products.
Main Components:
Control Layer: Composed of equipment such as batch controller, alignment control box, manual operation box, and safety interlock unit. Its main functions include automatic loading and unloading control as well as monitoring information.
Field Layer: Consists of on-site instruments such as flow meters, valves, LED display screens, and automatic loading arms. The batch controller, based on the information from the control layer, controls the start and stop of the loading pump, regulates the valve switches according to the flow meter readings, and coordinates the interlocked actions of the automatic loading arm.
Main parameters:
Features:
Ultra-fast Alignment: The system identifies the tank opening within 0.04 seconds, and completes alignment in no more than 15 seconds, which is 20 times faster than manual operation (based on a 5-minute manual alignment time).
One-click Alignment – Simple: After the tank opening is uncovered, simply press the “Start Alignment” button on the local alignment controller or the remote DCS system to initiate the automatic alignment process. The system performs one-click fully automatic positioning and automatically lowers the drop pipe.
Automatic Reset – Convenient: After loading or unloading is completed, the system automatically lifts the drop pipe and controls the remaining liquid. By pressing the “Reset Arm” button on the local controller or DCS system, the loading arm automatically returns to its initial position with one click.
Automatic Oil Control – Eco-friendly: When the drop pipe is lifted, the oil collection funnel automatically moves beneath it to collect any residual liquid. The drop pipe and the collection funnel then return to their original positions together, ensuring zero leakage and environmental protection.
Working Principle:
Workflow:
The operation process includes: capture image → detect tank opening → output position coordinates → move and align → automatically open oil collection funnel → execute alignment → complete positioning → start loading → complete loading → automatically retract drop pipe → automatically close oil collection funnel → return drop pipe → end of loading process.
Alignment Principle:
The system uses machine vision to detect the tank opening and outputs its X and Y coordinates to the alignment controller. The alignment controller processes this information and controls the servo motor to move the drop pipe to the corresponding position, inserting it precisely into the tank opening. Once aligned, the batch controller is interlocked to start the loading operation automatically.
Advantages:
Remote Control: Enables fully automated remote control of the entire weighing and filling process, reducing labor intensity while improving filling efficiency and accuracy.
Video Analysis: Utilizes AI video analysis based on deep learning to monitor vehicle and personnel status at the loading site, providing safety protection throughout the filling process.
Visual Control: Implements the industry’s first domestic application of “machine vision + control system” technology to replace manual control for inserting the loading arm into the tank, enhancing insertion efficiency.
Data Interconnectivity: Supports data exchange via proprietary systems or interfaces with weighing scales and quality inspection terminal printing systems, breaking down data silos.
