Production method:

Performance introduction:

Glass adhesive is divided into two types according to its performance: neutral glass adhesive and acid glass adhesive. It is generally used for home decoration bonding. Generally, glass glue is used in home decoration, such as the dummy on the back of the wooden line, sanitary ware, toilet, vanity mirror in the toilet, and the gap between the washbasin and the wall. Different performance glass glue should be used in these places. The bonding force of neutral glass adhesive is relatively weak, and it is generally used in the back of bathroom mirror where strong bonding force is not required. Neutral glass glue is often used in home decoration, mainly because it will not corrode objects, while acid glass glue is generally used in the dumb mouth on the back of the wood line, with strong adhesion.

1. Usage: One component silicone glass adhesive can be used immediately. It can be easily knocked out of the plastic bottle with a glue gun, and its surface can be trimmed with a spatula or wood chips.

2. Adhesion time: The curing process of silicone adhesive develops from the surface to the inside. The surface drying time and curing time of silica gel with different characteristics are different, so the surface must be repaired before the surface of glass adhesive is dry (acid adhesive, neutral transparent adhesive should generally be within 5-10 minutes, and neutral variegated adhesive should generally be within 30 minutes). If color separation paper is used to cover a certain place, it must be removed before the skin is formed after gluing.

3. Curing time: The curing time of glass adhesive increases with the increase of bonding thickness. For example, acid glass adhesive with a thickness of 12 mm may take 3-4 days to solidify, but within about 24 hours, the outer layer of 3 mm has been cured. When bonding glass, metal or most wood, it has a peel strength of 20 pounds/inch after 72 hours at room temperature. If the place where glass glue is used is partially or completely closed, the curing time is determined by the tightness of the sealing. In an absolutely closed place, it is possible to remain uncured forever. If the temperature is increased, the glass glue will become soft. The clearance between metal and metal bonding surfaces shall not exceed 25 mm. In various bonding occasions, including airtight conditions, the bonding effect shall be comprehensively checked before using the bonded equipment. During the curing process of acid glass adhesive, the volatilization of acetic acid will produce a smell, which will disappear during the curing process, and there will be no peculiar smell after curing.

4. Bonding: A Completely wipe the metal and plastic surfaces to remove oil stains. Then, except that the plastic surfaces are rinsed with acetone, the rubber surfaces should be polished with sandpaper and then wiped with acetone. Please observe the precautions when using acetone. B. Apply the glass glue evenly on the prepared object surface. If the two surfaces are bonded, one side can be positioned first, and then squeeze the other side with enough force to squeeze out air, but be careful not to squeeze the glass glue. C. Place the bonded device at room temperature until the glass adhesive cures.

5. Sealing: When silicone glass adhesive is used for sealing, the above steps shall also be followed. The glass adhesive shall be forced into the joint face or gap to make the glass adhesive fully contact with the surface.

6. Cleaning: Before the glass adhesive is cured, it can be wiped off with a cloth or paper towel. After curing, it must be scraped off with a scraper or scrubbed with solvent such as xylene and acetone.

Operating Steps:

It is beautiful to hit down a line without stopping. The force should be even. It should be hit in place at one time, and it should be beautiful.

First, you should know how to use glue gun;

Second point: determine the width of your glue, that is, the gap width;

Third point: cut the rubber nozzle into a slightly smaller caliber than the gap according to the width of the gap where you apply glue;

Fourth, protect the two sides of the sealant gap. Paste 2-3CM adhesive tape on the glass, profile, stone, etc. on both sides of the gap, which can protect the glass, profile, stone, etc. on both sides, and also has great convenience for correcting the glue in the gap;

Fifth, master the speed of glue application and glue gun movement, and move the glue gun evenly according to the depth of the gap;

Sixth point: repair the gluing area, find a blade to scrape the uneven place, and fill the glue where there is no gap when gluing;

Point 7: After 48 hours, the construction can be completed by removing the adhesive tape on both sides of the material.

Single and double component classification

Silicone glass adhesive can be divided into two categories from the product packaging: one component and two components. The curing of one component silicone adhesive is to change its physical properties by contacting the moisture in the air; The two-component silicone adhesive is divided into two groups, A and B. Either group alone cannot form curing, but once the two groups of glue are mixed, curing occurs. One component silicone glass adhesive is common in the market.

Acidity and alkalinity classification:

Silicone glass adhesive can be divided into acid adhesive and neutral adhesive according to its acid-base properties. Acid glass adhesive is mainly used for general bonding between glass and other building materials. The neutral adhesive overcomes the characteristics that acid adhesive corrodes metal materials and reacts with alkaline materials, so it has a wider scope of application, and its market price is slightly higher than that of acid adhesive. A special type of neutral glass adhesive in the market is silicone structural sealant. Because it is directly used for metal and glass structure or non structural bonding assembly of glass curtain walls, the quality requirements and product grade are the highest among glass adhesives, and its market price is also the highest.

Color classification:

Silicone glass adhesive has many colors, including black, porcelain white, transparent, silver gray, gray and bronze. Other colors can be customized according to customer requirements.

Classification of weather resistance and mold resistance:

Weather resistant silicone sealant is suitable for weather resistant sealing of various curtain walls, especially for glass curtain walls, aluminum plastic panel curtain walls, and stone dry hanging. The weather resistant sealant is suitable for joint sealing between metal, glass, aluminum, ceramic tile, organic glass and coated glass; Weathering silicone sealant for joint sealing of concrete, cement, masonry, rock, marble, steel, wood, anodized aluminum and painted aluminum surfaces. Primer is not required in most cases.

Mold proof silicone sealant is the trend in the future. The silicone sealant with mold proof effect can be used longer, more firmly, and is not easy to fall off than the general sealant. It is especially suitable for some humid and mold prone environments, such as bathroom, kitchen, etc.

Storage method:

The glass adhesive shall be stored in a cool, dry place below 30 ℃. The acid glass adhesive with good quality can ensure the effective storage period of more than 12 months, and the acid glass adhesive can be stored for more than 6 months in general; The neutral weather resistance and structural adhesive can guarantee the shelf life of more than 9 months. If the bottle has been opened, please use it in a short time; If the glass glue is not used up, the rubber bottle must be sealed. When it is used again, the bottle mouth should be unscrewed to remove all blockage or replace the bottle mouth.

matters needing attention:

1. The most common problem of glass glue is that it turns black and moldy. Even the use of waterproof glass glue and mold proof glass glue cannot completely avoid such problems. Therefore, construction should not be carried out in places with water or immersion for a long time.

2. Anyone who knows about glass glue should know that glass glue is an organic substance, which is easily soluble in organic solvent substances such as grease, xylene, acetone, etc. Therefore, glass glue cannot be used on the substrate containing such substances.

3. Ordinary glass adhesive can only be solidified with the participation of moisture in the air, except for special and special purpose glass adhesive (such as anaerobic adhesive). Therefore, if the place you want to work in is a closed space and extremely dry, ordinary glass adhesive will not be competent.

4. The surface of the glass adhesive to be bonded to the substrate must be clean and free of other attachments (such as dust), otherwise the glass adhesive will not be firmly bonded or fall off after curing.

5. Acid glass adhesive will release irritating gas during curing, which can irritate eyes and respiratory tract. Therefore, doors and windows must be opened after construction, and can only be moved in after complete curing and gas emission.

Clear Method:

1. When the acid glass adhesive is not solidified, whether it is stuck to the human body, utensils or clothing, it can not be removed by washing with clean water, but should be wiped off with a dry cloth.

2. There is also the solidified glass glue, which is extremely difficult to remove. If the solidified glass body is attached to glass, ceramics, metals, etc., you can consider scrubbing with xylene, acetone and other solvents (if you do not know these two substances, you can consider banana water, because banana water contains these two substances). If there is less solidified glue attached to glass and other objects, you can also consider scraping with a scraper. If it is attached to clothes, you can consider brushing with a brush. If not, you should consider banana water.

3. Another case is that the glass adhesive is stuck to the hand and solidified. Don't worry about this case. The treatment is very simple. After the glass glue is cured, it cannot be firmly adhered to the hands, so it can be removed by rubbing hands together for a few times
