A TPMS sensor is typically replaced when its battery runs out. Very few internal sensors come with removable batteries. When you want to know whether the original sensor is bad or not, you can carry a wireless transmitting tool to determine which sensors are working and which are not. If the sensor runs out of battery and does not work anymore, you can program the STEELMATE OE sensor for your car and replace the old one.
