The current parameters of small head motors of waxing machines are: 2.2KW (single set)(a single set consists of 6 small head motors), daily workers
The working time lasts for about 16 hours. In actual operation, there are problems with the asynchronous motor used in the waxing machine:
① The efficiency of asynchronous motors is low, resulting in serious energy waste.
② The speed of the asynchronous motor is limited, which leads to increased abrasive consumption. At the same time, due to the large current impact during start-up and operation, the motor is prone to failure and damage.
③ Problems of uneven waxing and limited production capacity

1) Adopt high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motors
We replaced the original asynchronous motor with a permanent magnet synchronous motor that meets the first-level standard of GB30253-2013 "Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Levels for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors". This motor has self-starting capability and has higher efficiency compared with asynchronous motors of the same specification in the load range of 25%-120%. It has a wide economic range and significant energy saving effect. The energy efficiency is 3%-5% higher than that of YE3 high-efficiency motors and 10%-15% higher than that of Y-series ordinary motors.The mechanical characteristics are tough, the output torque is constant, and it can be operated at low speeds. The efficiency at low speeds is as high as over 98%; the power factor is ≥ 98%, and the reactive power loss is small. Iron loss and copper loss are extremely low. The motor adopts Class F insulation, the shell protection level is IP55, and the cooling method can be water cooled or air cooled. The motor temperature rise is low. Under normal rated load, the motor temperature rise does not exceed 80℃.
2) Increase motor speed and enhance motor working efficiency
Increase the speed of the motor, enhance the working efficiency of the motor, and effectively reduce the wear of consumables. By introducing a high-speed motor, rapid and even distribution of wax water is achieved. The modified equipment can spread wax water quickly and evenly on the brick surface,It solves the problem that wax water could not be effectively spread at the corners of the brick surface due to pressing friction, thus ensuring the uniformity of brightness of the brick surface.
3) Through high-precision servo control system
Permanent magnet synchronous motor servo controller. This controller is an energy-saving product specially designed for permanent magnet synchronous motors. It achieves precise control of constant torque and is more precise and intelligent than traditional control methods. It not only improves the working efficiency of the edger, but also due to the high efficiency and good speed regulation performance of the permanent magnet synchronous motor, compared with the asynchronous motor, it can greatly reduce the impact of current fluctuations on the power grid, further reflecting the advantages of the permanent magnet motor in terms of energy conservation and stability.
