From the supplier
The electrode is composed of two parts: the core and the coating. The electrode is evenly and centripetally pressed on the outer part of the metal core with paint (coating) on the welding core. Depending on the type of electrode, the core is also different. In order to ensure the quality and performance of the weld, there are strict regulations on the content of each metal element in the weld core, especially for the content of harmful impurities (such as sulfur, phosphorus, etc.), which should be strictly limited, which is better than the base metal.
