The TY-QM equipment is a large-scale five-coordinate three-axis synchronized groove grinder specifically developed by our company for the quartz processing industry. It is used to grind complex-shaped workpieces such as grooves, straight grooves, inclined grooves, and arc grooves in brittle materials (e.g., semiconductor quartz products and silicon).
The machine tool is primarily composed of components and auxiliary devices including the bed, worktable, crossbeam, transfer body, Z-axis body, grinding head, electrical control system, centralized lubrication, cooling, lighting, and safety protection. The machine tool is equipped with a FAUNC CNC system, with each axis driven by servo motors.
Key features of preparation
1. The machine adopts a gantry frame structure, with two vertical columns directly fixed to the integral bed. As the columns and crossbeams form an integrated structure, the machine tool exhibits high rigidity and precision.
2. The main components of the machine tool are fabricated from cast iron, which undergoes manual aging treatment prior to machining, ensuring high precision stability and excellent dimensional retention.
3. The X, Y, and Z axes (three-coordinate axes) utilize precision-grade linear guides with preloaded loads and ball screw drives, ensuring excellent rigidity, smooth motion, and high accuracy.
4. The machine tool is equipped with two rotary angle axes (A and B) to expand its machining process range. Both axes utilize direct-drive servo motors for precise positioning and reliable control (Axis A is optional).
5. The machine tool adopts an integral bed (where the bed serves as the integrated return water groove) and a monolithic external protective cover, ensuring no coolant leakage or environmental pollution. The internal protection of each coordinate axis is tightly sealed, guaranteeing that the guide rail assembly and lead screw assembly operate in a dust-free, chip-free, and pollution-free environment, thereby extending the service life of the machine tool.
6. The control panel (CRT control box) is rotatable at the front of the machine tool, facilitating operator access;
7. The grinding head is equipped with a belt breakage detection and alarm function. If the belt unexpectedly breaks during processing, the induction switch will trigger an alarm to stop the machine tool movement, preventing damage to the workpiece.
8. The grinding head is equipped with oil mist lubrication functionality. The machine tool is configured with two independent lubrication systems: one for centralized lubrication of all transmission shafts to extend the machine tool's service life, and the other for grinding head bearings using oil mist lubrication, which intermittently provides sufficient lubricating oil to prolong the grinding head's lifespan.
9. The cooling system is equipped with a coolant flow interruption detection and alarm function, utilizing a flow relay connected in a tubular configuration at the pump outlet. The adjustable detection range of the flow relay ensures precise and sensitive operation. When the coolant flow rate falls below the set value, the alarm switch activates to halt the machine tool movement, preventing dimensional instability of workpieces due to insufficient cooling.
