From the supplier
Sodium hypochlorite is the hypochlorite of sodium. Hypochlorite produced by the reaction of sodium hypochlorite with carbon dioxide is the effective component of bleaching agent. The national compulsory standard sodium hypochlorite (GB 19106-2013) came into force on December 1, 2014. Replace GB 19106-2003. General requirements for sodium hypochlorite solution are specified. The national food safety standard sodium hypochlorite for food additives (GB 25574-2010) is formulated and published by the Ministry of health, which stipulates the requirements for sodium hypochlorite as a food additive. The sodium hypochlorite used as a food additive must meet the requirements of the standard.
White extremely unstable solid, easy to explode when mixed with organic matter or reducing agent. The aqueous solution is alkaline and decomposes slowly into NaCl, NaClO ₃ and O ψ. It decomposes rapidly under heat and light and has strong oxidation.
Sodium hypochlorite is mainly used in many fields such as bleaching, industrial wastewater treatment, paper making, textile, pharmaceutical, fine chemical industry, sanitation and disinfection
1. Used for bleaching pulp, textile (such as cloth, towel, sweatshirt, etc.), chemical fiber and starch;
2. Soap making industry is used as bleaching agent of oil;
3. Chemical industry is used to produce hydrazine hydrate, monochloramine and dichloramine;
4. Chlorinating agent for the manufacture of cobalt and nickel;
5. Used as water purification agent, bactericide and disinfectant in water treatment;
6. The dye industry is used to make sulfurized royal blue;
7. The organic industry is used for the manufacture of chloropicrin, calcium carbide hydration to acetylene detergent;
8. Agriculture and animal husbandry are used as disinfectants and deodorants for vegetables, fruits, feedlots and livestock houses;
9. Food grade sodium hypochlorite is used for the disinfection of beverage water, fruits and vegetables, and the sterilization of food manufacturing equipment and appliances, but it cannot be used in the food production process with sesame as the raw material.
