Quilting is to use long needles to sew quilts with interlayers to fix the batting inside. The bedding is generally composed of two parts: the tire material and the outer textile fabric. The tire material is divided into flocculent tire and loose fiber. The structure and shape of the loose fiber bedding core are not fixed, it is easy to flow and shrink, and the thickness is not uniform. In order to make the outer fabric and the inner core of the quilt close and fixed, and make the thickness of the quilt uniform, the outer fabric and the inner core are sewed (including sewing) in a side-by-side straight line or decorative pattern. This process of increasing aesthetic feeling and practicability is called quilting. The quilted quilt after this kind of sewing is called quilting quilt.
