Profile Wrapping Adhesives are commonly used in the manufacturing of furniture and building interiors. Profile wrapping materials can be all types of foils – papers or veneers. The base materials for the profiles can vary widely from – solid wood – wood-based substrates – plastics – aluminium and metals.

The preferred application technology for Profile Wrapping Adhesives today is roller applicator or adjustable width slot nozzles, applied at very high speeds up to 300 ‘ /minute. The newer high speed processing requires good initial green strength, to allow for fast trimming of parts soon after bonding.

Attention:

The HM adhesives should be used on any type of continuous edge banding machine.
Coating can be made either on the edge or on the section material.
The coated material is immediately placed in contact with the substrate and pressed with rolls.
(The temperature should be checked directly in the gluing system)
The supports and edges must be at ambient temperature(which should not be less than 15°C)
and the level of humidity should not exceed 10% in order to obtain a good bond.
