PP-RCT Pipes and Fittings
PP-RCT Pipe: Also known as high-temperature-resistant β-crystalline polypropylene pipe, it is a modified PPR material that replaces the monoclinic crystalline structure of PPR with a hexagonal crystalline form.
Performance Characteristics
Heat Resistance: Long-term service temperature ranges from -20°C to 95°C, with long-term strength at high temperatures exceeding that of PPR pipes by over 50%.
Pressure Resistance: Under the same design pressure, the wall thickness of pipes with the same outer diameter can be reduced, resulting in a larger inner diameter and improved flow capacity.
Impact Resistance: Low-temperature brittleness is significantly improved, with notch impact strength substantially higher than that of PPR.
Creep Resistance: Exhibits an excellent balance of rigidity and toughness, along with extended creep resistance time, showing no inflection point in long-term hydrostatic pressure test curves.
Application Fields
Building Water Supply and Drainage Systems: Suitable for cold and hot water supply pipelines in buildings, capable of meeting water transport needs under varying temperatures and pressures, providing safe and stable water supply for residents.
Heating Systems: In heating systems such as underfloor heating, the high-temperature and pressure resistance of PP-RCT pipes enables them to withstand the heat and pressure of hot water, ensuring reliable operation of the heating system.
