PP-RCT/GFRP/PP-RCT Triple-Layer Composite Pipe
This pipe is co-extruded with a three-layer structure: an inner layer of PP-RCT, a middle layer of glass fiber-reinforced plastic (GFRP), and an outer layer of PP-RCT.
The outer PP-RCT layer contains UV inhibitors, improving heat-fusion welding performance and anti-aging resistance.
The middle GFRP reinforcement layer enhances overall mechanical strength, as well as heat and cold resistance.
The inner antibacterial PP-RCT layer ensures hygienic safety for water supply applications.
PP-RCT/GFRP/PP-RCT is an all-around reinforced fiber composite pipe that effectively overcomes the shortcomings and performance limitations of both metal and conventional plastic pipes.
Performance Characteristics
1. Enhanced Mechanical Strength – Significantly improved strength retention at high temperatures compared to other pipes.
2. High Static Pressure Resistance – Under the same specifications and conditions, its safety factor is increased by over 25%.
3. Exceptional High & Low-Temperature Resistance – ASTM D-648 test shows a heat deflection temperature of 145°C, 30°C higher than standard PP-R pipes, with outstanding impact resistance even in freezing conditions.
4. Safe & Hygienic – The antibacterial inner layer ensures clean water delivery, making it ideal for potable water systems.
5. Long Service Life – UV-resistant and anti-aging, preventing degradation from sunlight exposure.
6. Low Linear Expansion & Density – Density is only 1/7 that of steel, and linear expansion is just 1/3 of PP-R pipes.
7. Easy & Reliable Installation – Simple cutting and heat-fusion welding ensure leak-proof connections.
