The success story of the Italian textile manufacturer based in Valdagno (province of Vicenza) in northern Italy begins in 1836 with the greening of the Weaving Mill Lanificio Luigi Marzotto & Figli - a small family business with twelve employees, which initially concentrated on the production of primed canvases.

However, it was not long before Marzotto made a name for himself for high-quality textiles and yarns.

In 1940, the company was the largest Italian yarn and fabric producer.

However, it was not until the early 1950s that Marzotto entered the clothing market - again, the success was not long in coming.
