From the supplier
The low-voltage cabinet is the core equipment for terminal power distribution in the electric power system. It is primarily used for the distribution, control, protection, and monitoring of electric energy at voltage levels of 0.4 kV and below. It is often used in conjunction with 35 kV step-up box-type substations and high-voltage intelligent cabinets, forming a complete power distribution chain of "low-voltage busbar-high-voltage step-up-grid transmission". It is widely used in various scenarios such as new energy stations, industrial enterprises, commercial buildings, and substations.
The low-voltage cabinet, based on standardized and modularized cabinets, integrates core components such as air circuit breakers, molded case circuit breakers, contactors, relays, fuses, intelligent measurement and control instruments, and wiring terminals. It can achieve graded distribution of low-voltage power, load control, fault protection, and operation monitoring. The cabinet body is precision-processed using high-quality cold-rolled steel plates, with a compact and reasonable structure, standardized and orderly internal wiring, and good heat dissipation, dust prevention, and moisture resistance. The protection level can reach IP30 or above, suitable for indoor installation scenarios, and can meet the long-term stable operation requirements in different environments.
The core function of this device focuses on the safe management and efficient distribution of electrical energy on the low-voltage side. It can achieve multi-channel outlet control according to load requirements, and provides rapid response and protection against common faults such as overload, short circuit, leakage, undervoltage, and overvoltage, effectively avoiding safety accidents such as equipment burnout and line damage, and ensuring the normal operation of low-voltage electrical equipment. At the same time, when paired with intelligent measurement and control instruments, it can collect parameters such as voltage, current, power, and energy consumption of each outlet in real time, supporting local display and remote uploading. This allows operation and maintenance personnel to grasp the distribution status in real time and achieve refined operation and maintenance.
Compared to traditional low-voltage power distribution equipment, modern low-voltage cabinets possess advantages such as high modularization, strong scalability, convenient operation, and low operation and maintenance costs. They can flexibly configure functional modules such as incoming lines, outgoing lines, metering, and reactive power compensation according to actual power distribution needs, adapting to different scenarios such as low-voltage busbar systems in new energy stations, power distribution for industrial equipment, and lighting distribution for commercial buildings. In new energy projects such as photovoltaic (PV) and wind power, low-voltage cabinets are primarily used to collect low-voltage electrical energy generated by PV modules and wind turbines. After initial protection and distribution, the energy is sent to a step-up transformer for voltage boosting. They are key equipment in the low-voltage power distribution link on the generation side of new energy.
