The CTS Flange Adapter saves time and money on the construction site. Being very easy and quick to install the fitting provides 100% protection against electrolysis and in addition to saving labour costs also saves on consumables – gas, flux, etc. Press flange adapter features an inboard bead and EPDM O-ring . Simply applying pressure from a pressing tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, watertight seal in seconds with no flame, solder or flux. The press flange adapter has a red brass (bronze) press connection and flanged end connection. The fitting provides a method for adapting a press connection to a flange connection.

And we also have another V profile Press-fit Flange Adapter, which has cast iron loose flange and EPDM sealing element. The press connection technology provide a quick assembly and guaranteed a long-term safety. These fittings offer an aesthetic finish and manufactured from strong, highly corrosion-resistance material, are widely used in marine, steam and water service.

▲ Deburrer and coloured pen for marking

▲ Press machine with constant pressing force

▲ Press jaw or press ring with corresponding hinged adapter jaw, suitable for the pipe diameter and suitable  

   Profile.

7.  Frequently Asked Questions:

     Q: How to replace the sealing element?

     A: Do not use pointed or sharp-edged objects to remove the sealiing element. They may damage the sealing element or the bead. 

Q: Should I use EPDM sealing element or FKM sealing element?

     A: The EPDM and FKM sealing element have different area of use. Simply put, EPDM sealing elements are commonly used in Portable water, Heating, Solar installations, Compressed air and Technical gases. And FKM sealing elements are tend to be used in District heat supply, Solar installations and Compressed air (dry, oil content ≧25mg/m³). Besides, EPDM sealing element can be exchanged for an FKM sealing element, for it’s higher thermal resistance in industrial use.
