Principle of locking type steel wire insert

Locking type steel wire insert (also called locking insert) is a new type developed on the basis of the original ordinary type steel wire insert. There are 1~2 circles of pentagons or hexagons in the middle of the locking insert. When the bolt is half screwed into the threaded hole, the head of the bolt touches the locking ring. At this time, the locking performance of the steel wire insert is superior and the strength is higher than that of other common locking devices. At the same time, it can be disassembled reversely.

When the screw is screwed into the screw hole of the locking type steel wire screw sleeve, it is loose before it enters the polygonal locking ring. When the screw enters the polygonal locking ring, it is necessary to stretch the polygon to deform the locking edge. At this time, the screw is screwed in to overcome the friction force of the locking edge on the screw. After the screw is tightened, this friction can prevent the screw from loosening itself, thus replacing other locking methods.

There are one or more inner coils or endless coils on the locking screw sleeve, which greatly enhances the locking force and prevents vibration from falling off.
