Kalax High-Performance Acoustic Glass Wool Engineered with uniformly fine and elongated glass wool fibers bonded by an eco-friendly thermosetting binder through Kalax's proprietary centrifugal technology, this product features a loose, interwoven fiber structure with abundant micropores. When sound waves contact the material, they penetrate these pores, inducing vibrations in air mole cules within the microstructure. The viscous resistance of air and friction between mole cules and pore walls efficiently convert sound energy into thermal energy for dissipation. This mechanism establishes it as an exceptional porous acoustic absorption material for noise control applications.
