■Don't knot, clamp, or rig this energy absorbing lanyard in any fashion as it may reduce the strength of the lanyard.
■Don't use this energy absorbing lanyard if there are any signs of excessive wear, or any signs of structural deterioration.
■Don't use this energy absorbing lanyard if shock absorber shows any signs of deployment, elongation or activation.
■Temperature, trailing or looping of lanyards or lifelines over sharp edges, chemical reagents electrical
conductivity, cutting, abrasion, climatic exposure, pendulum falls. A lanyard shall not be used for fall arrest purposes without any energyabsorption, e.g an energy absorber.
■The total length of a lanyard connected to an energy absorber (including terminations and connectors) shall not exceed 2m.
