The portable sand pump is suitable for inland river dredging, coastal embankment , coal mines, power plants and other enterprises to transport solid particles containing slurry, medium particles up to 50-80 mm. The dredger sand pump is also used to pump sand or slurry in the river, lake, sea and reservoir, land reclamation , pumping iron ore,  gold sand.

Portable sand pump designed by OCEAN Pump is used for dredging at the beginning. The configuration of sand suction and discharge pipeline is between simple sand pump and heavy duty sand pump. It is usually equipped on cutter suction dredger or mud unloading ship. Bolder axle, heavy bearing, water-cooled bearing box, three-blade impeller, four-blade impeller, vaneless impeller, open impeller can be matched for 14 inch portable sand pump.

On July 4, 2019, a customer from Jiangsu visited OCEAN Pump. The customer has a bucket wheel dredger equipped with a 14 inch iron cast sand pump. The effect is good but over-current parts wears quickly. The customer saw 14 inch portable sand pumps produced by OCEAN Pump near his construction site. The over-current components of the portable sand pumps are made of high-chromium alloy. The service life is about ten times longer than ordinary cast iron sand pumps’. The customer came to OCEAN Pump and hoped to buy one set to replace it.

Through simple communication, OCEAN Pump engineers selected the 350 PNS-35 sediment removal pump to equip on the customer’s bucket wheel dredger. At the same time, the customer required two high-pressure water pumps, OCEAN Pump prepared water pumps and portable sand pump for customer.
