Galang Neigeh is named in honor of king Nimadjepo of Galang, who made outstanding contributions to the Galang dynasty and had an important influence on the formation of formula of alcohol. Galang Neigeh concoction liquor was created by the most famous king of Galang dynasty, Nimadjepo and became the special alcohol of Galang dynasty. Whenever the troops went on an expeditions or had a triumphant return, he would reward the armies with the alcohol made of Tibetan white liquor and Tibetan medicinal herbs to make his troops be in good forms, be in high morale and be invincible. Galang dynasty, one of the most ancient dynasties in Tibet, was founded in 560 AD and destroyed by the local Gaxia government in 1929 and has a history of nearly 1,000 years.
Galang Neigeh concoction liquor was alcohol especially used for the sake of royal family’ s health and was exclusively enjoyed by the royal family. Due to karma and coincidence, the ancient formula of the royal alcohol has been kept and passed on.
