Esterquats is a new type cationic surfactant with excellent softness, antistatic properties and anti-yellowing. It does not contain APEO, formaldehyde, so it is easily biodegradable and environmentally friendly. It represents a new generation of fabric softening agents, having replaced the dialkyldimethyl ammonium salts (e.g. DTDMAC and DSDMAC).
