The Stone epoxy adhesive is used for repairing irregular cracks like micro-cracks, (sand holes, chicken patterns, ant roads) and uneven patches on the surface of various stones.

1.Slabs treatment
Slabs should be totally dry.
Remove the mud, oil or other purity on the slab surface.

 

2.Prepare the glue and mix
Mix the glue by A:B=5:1(by weight) completely
Please use up the glue within the pot life. The glue will be fever and is prohibited to use when beyond the pot life. The more of the glue mixed, and the higher of the temperature, the shorter the pot life. If mixed too much glue, please divide quickly to use.
Do not mix the cap of A and B. Please seal the caps anytime in case the moisture and dash from the air.
The plated with big open mouth container is recommend for glue mixing to extend the pot life of glue

 

3.Spreading the glue
Spread the glue evenly on the surface of slab with scrape back and forth. The recommend using weight is 80-150g/per square.
For the cracks on slabs, spread glue back and forth to make the glue penetrate completely.
For the big defects on the slab, such as the soil, please remove first, then mix the glue and stone powder to fix it. Polish after cured, then spread the glue.
Please do not use the non epoxy and other slab surface treatment agent, or it will be not suitable for the epoxy glue spreading.

 

4.Glue solidify
The Stone epoxy adhesive will be initially cured in 2-3 house under room temperature(25℃)It can be proceed to next procedure after 24 hours;If possible, heat up the stone with adhesive to 50-60 ℃ and polish it after 2-3 hours.
Before the adhesive cured, the stone should be placed horizontally and not stacked; after cured, the lubricants such as talcum powder can be applied on the stone surface, to avoid stone adhesion when they are stacked.

 

5.Clean up
Use the specialized cleaner to clean the apparatus before the glue cured.

A:For different workers, the glue may irritate the skin, but the product meet national standard B:GB18583-2008, it is environmental friendly and no harm to human body.
When using this glue, please take the protections as below:
1.Use the glue in the ventilate environment
2.Wear the protection cloths, gloves and mask
3.In case the Stone epoxy adhesive contact skin directly, if any, clean with the soap water
4.Before mix the glue, open the cap of Part B first, wait for the volatility of the free low molecular materials
5.If any irritation to the skin, better to change to other jobs.

Cautions

Some facts will affect the performance of the glue as below:
1.The stone is not dry enough or the air humidity is too high, the stone absorbed the moisture from air.
2.Part A and B was not mixed exactly base on the stipulated ratio Glue mix uneven or not completely.
3.Mixed the apparatus of A and B, the glue is cured in advance The mixed glue was not used up within the pot life.
4.In winter and low temperature, the product may form crystal or caking. Just heat up the glue and make the crystal or caking dissolved, this will not affect the glue performance.
5.Clean and wipe the glue on cloth or skin before it cured with alcohol, then flush with soap water. 6.If in eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek for medical cure; if swallowed, do not emetic, drink plenty of egg white or milk, then seek for medical cure immediately.

Storage & Packing

1.Sealed and stock in cool, dry and ventilate place, stock temperature under 5-40℃. Shelf life one year from the production date, it can be still used based on passing the test when beyond the shelf life.
2.This Stone epoxy adhesive is corrosive goods, keep far away from the heat, fire, sunshine and rain during delivery and stock. In the process of transportation, operate gently, it is prohibited to roll, impact, stress, inversion, and offset
3.Packing size: 120Kg/set, in plastic drum packing; 240kg/set, 1200kg/set, Part A in Iron drum packing and B in plastic drum packing.
