The defrost timer is a component used to control the defrost program of a fully automatic defrost refrigerator. Its working principle is that a micro synchronous motor (about 3W) drives a cam through gear changes, and then the cam presses a set value. Time triggers a set of contacts to complete the control of the defrost program. The time for the cam to rotate once is generally 8 to 12 hours. The drive motor of the defrost timer is associated with the motor of the compressor and works continuously with the start and stop time of the compressor. The working coefficient of the compressor is generally 40%~50%. Therefore, the refrigerator can be defrosted once every day and night on average.
