Soybean Oil Extraction Workshop Introduction: The pretreated soybean is contacted with oil embryo in the equipment called extractor by organic solvent such as n-hexane. By this way, the oil in the oil seeds will be extracted and dissolved, and then the solvent in the oil will be removed by heating and stripping, thus, the crude soybean oil will be obtained
