Polyimide fiber reinforced composites:
1. High strength: tensile strength is above 800MPa, bending strength is above 1100 MPa, which is about 3-4 times that of steel Q235. It has good elastic recovery and is not easy to cause permanent deformation and cause structural damage. It can be used to make photovoltaic brackets, marine pasture breeding cages, building purlins, walls, floors and other structural parts.
2. Lightweight: The density is 2.1g/cm3, and the weight of the same specification is nearly 1/4 of that of steel. It is easy to transport, install, etc. In complex and high-altitude workplaces, it reduces transportation costs, manual installation difficulties and hoisting costs. Roof photovoltaic can reduce the load on the house.& nbsp;
3. Salt fog and corrosion resistance: The performance remains basically unchanged in strong acid and saline-alkali environments for a long time. It can be used for photovoltaic brackets and frames in sea surfaces, saline-alkali lands, tidal flats and other places. It can also be used as the material of choice for energy storage boxes.
4. Radiation resistance: It has stable strength and long service life under long-term ultraviolet exposure. It is the best material in the photovoltaic industry.
The material does not rust or oxidize, and does not require maintenance in the later period. Compared with steel, aluminum alloy structural materials, etc., the overall performance is good and the whole life cycle cost is low (raw materials, production, transportation, installation, maintenance, etc. costs).
